Big Adventure...

I know I said my next post would be from Dawn's wedding BUT something exciting/crazy happened and I have to share it with you. I was picked to go on Slim's Big Adventure to the Zag's game in Buffalo, NY! Basically its going to be me, 2 or 3 other listeners and 2 employees of KXLY. We are going to be driving in a car across the country (none of which is planned) and along the way compete for cash prizes. I never in a million years thought I would have been picked but I was and my most amazing boss said I could go. Everyone keeps asking what I had to do to be selected so I thought I would share my entry with you all, and you can be the judge to see if they should have picked me. I will def take pictures and a journal along the way and hopefully will be able to update here when I can. So here is my winning entry:


Tell us about yourself:
I have been married for almost 4 yrs now. Before you ask, no we don't have any kids and no we don't know when we are going to start having kids. I was born and raised in Spokane and graduated from Mead High School.
I am the youngest of 4 kids so I am used to getting into and out of trouble with great ease.
I have a few interesting claim to fames: Evel Kinevel's daughter babysat me one time and took me and my sister to the Butte Montana rodeo.
And my most embarrassing story and claim to fame: As a kid John Stockton actually knew my name because I would ask for his autograph so much (yes he always signed). I decided since he had always been so nice to me I should do something for him so I gave him my kindergarten school picture and autographed it for him to have.

Why should we pick you for the trip:
I would be a great addition to the trip for many reasons:
*I am an avid sports fan- not to toot my own horn but if you were to put me up against any other girl (and a lot of guys) I could probably hold my own.
*I live for random adventures like this- In college my friends called them T and Me adventures because I would show up tell them to take cash, ID, and a credit card and we would just go.
*I am competitive by nature so any game we play I will want to win. My husband and I have almost gotten divorced over Catchphrase and Apples to Apples.
*I get along better with guys than girls. I don't like drama and I just like to go with the flow.
*I'm easy going and fun loving and really up for anything at least once.
*I'm a female who is not against playing the "girl card" to help the group get into or out of situations, when needed.
*I'm Female which i think can only help and enhance this road trip
**And Finally not sure if its important or not but I can def hold my own in alcohol (again put me up against any girl and some guys and I would do ok
