We did it right...

Charlotte: Days 3-5

As I said in the first Charlotte post, Dawn, Stone and I, decided to make a mini vacay out of Landis' wedding. I mean if you are gonna fly all that way you may as well see what there is to see and have some fun in the sun. Welp, little did we know when we booked our tickets Dawn would be 4 months pregnant and it would be stupid hot. We had grand plans of taking drives (despite not renting a car) to nearby college campuses, going to the beach, shopping, checking out the sites...you get the idea. Instead of doing any of those things we spent the next three days mainly doing this:

Swimming

 eating at an Irish pub

 waving the flag at another Irish pub

 swimming and drinking and being cougs

 playing life size jenga

 craughing

 posing with random artwork

 posing with more random art work

 posing with clowns in elevators

 eating at yet another Irish pub

 and hanging out at "home" aka another Irish pub

Wedding day heat...

Charlotte Day 2: Wedding Day!

Not only is Landis pretty much the hottest bride I have ever seen in person, her wedding will go down in the books as the hottest day I have ever experienced. The temperature said 108* but apparently there is a thing called a heat index and everyone said it was actually more like a 114! Seriously I LOVE hot weather but this was something else. baking, blistering, fiery, scorching, sizzling, sweltering, stifling...there are not enough synonyms in the dictionary to explain how hot it actually was. However, looking at Landis you would never know the rest of us were melting. She was absolutely STUNNING! She could honestly be a model for any bridal magazine and you would want to buy whatever it was she is selling. See for yourself:

At this point I should warn you, there are many more pics to come. Megan, Fuller and Jax, and Jbass could not make the trip so I took it upon myself to become the unofficial photographer for the oec. Only continue if you want minute by minute pictures of the ceremony. This also gave me something to do to keep my mind off of the extreme sweat that was accumulating on my body.

Things are about to get progressively blurrier as the night goes on...I blame the heat ;)

 Did I not tell you she was stunning! This is at least 8 hrs later and 114* and she is still flawless and so HAPPY!!!

 Congrats Matt and Landis! You two are adorable and I am so thankful I got to witness such a beautiful day with you both!
