The next day My mom came over to help me hang curtains in our living room, while Jim was out golfing with all of our friends at the "doolittle scramble." I had hoped to join up with them around the 9th hole and hang out once i was done, however things with the curtains did not go as smoothly or quickly as i had planned on and i missed out on the golf. When we finally finished the curtains 4 hours and two interruptions later Jim was already done with golf...needless to say i was a bit frustrated with the project but we were able to go up to the LaBelle's that evening and have a fire and hang out. so that helped calm my aggravation.
Finally on sunday Megan, Diane and I had planned on floating the little spokane river for a lazy day. We were all excited and ready to go, with just one problem. None of us had flotation devices. We called around to all the tire stores in spokane and found out every single one was closed. I think this is honestly the only business that is closed all day on Sundays. So there went that plan... The good news about not going to the river was that i got to go to lunch at the Elk with Dawn, and Fuller before the two of them headed back to Seattle. What have i learned from this? Less plans, more just going with the flow.
